The following fees went into effect January 1, 2005. Thank you for being aware of and cooperating with the following fee schedule.

RECONNECTION FEES

a.    Where Service has been discontinued at the Customer's request and reconnection of Service is requested by the same Customer on the same Premises within one (1) year after the date of discontinuance, a reconnection fee shall be charged.  A fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per account for reconnection of Service shall be applicable to residential Customers, and a fee of Seventy-Five ($75.00) per account shall be applicable to non-residential Customers. Not withstanding for foregoing, a Customer may qualify for a reduction of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) in the applicable reconnection fee as follows:

1.    Make an appointment with Toccoa Natural Gas to have Service reconnected between the first business day in August and the last Monday in September (inclusive).

2.    If Toccoa Natural Gas is unable to meet a scheduled appointment, the reduced fee will still apply even if reconnection occurs later.  If Customer is unable to meet a scheduled appointment and reconnection cannot be rescheduled by the last Monday in September, the full applicable fee will apply.

3.    Toccoa's sole judgment will apply in determining how many appointments can be scheduled during the designated time period.

4.    The reduced fee is not applicable to nonpayment reconnections.

b.    In cases where Service is discontinued for nonpayment of bills, a Customer shall do the following before Toccoa Natural Gas is obligated to restore Service:

1.    pay the arrears portion of the bill in full

2.    reestablish credit in accordance with Toccoa Natural Gas procedures

3.    pay the applicable reconnection fee set out above.

c.     All reconnection fees charged are subject to sales tax to be collected by Toccoa Natural Gas from the Customer.

d.    All reconnections of commercial and industrial customers that take longer than one hour to complete will be billed at the rate of Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00) per hour.

SERVICE CALLS AFTER NORMAL OPERATING HOURS

Toccoa Natural Gas has personnel available to respond to emergencies and to Customer repair request.  When a Customer requires Toccoa Natural Gas to respond to routine service calls (such as air and flame adjustment) after normal working hours or on a Saturday, Sunday or Legal Holiday, a fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) plus sales tax, will be charged for such calls.

INSUFFICIENT CHECK FUNDS

A bad check charge of $25.00 will be made for checks or drafts tendered on a Customer's account and returned by the bank.
